We need to start ordering our furniture for the impending arrival or our baby, which means I need to decide on final color scheme ASAP. We're still thinking of creating a space inspired by this room, which will work well with the natural-colored organic crib sheets and bedding we'll be purchasing.
I'm stuck though on whether we should go with a charcoal grey glider which we could potentially transition to a living room or family room piece later on. Our sofa set is a lighter grey so it would be easiest to work in another cool-colored piece.
However, I'm thinking something warmer and even more neutral will work better with the color-scheme I'm working with. So maybe we should go with the stone color?
And then of course, I'm really liking the color combination of the glider in Everett's room featured on ohdeeoh:
Would stone with black piping clash with the amber and white crib we'll be getting? Should I stick with one solid color which might be easier to work with since I'll likely be using the same glider for our next child (assuming we have two kiddos)?
So which color(s) should we order? I really need to stop being so indecisive! We have 10-weeks until I'm full-term so decisions need to start being made.

I love the stone color with piping. I'm into neutral furniture that you can change and adjust with decorative colorful accents, like pillows, throws, wall art, etc. Very cute! Have fun decorating!
The stone with piping is my favorite also. Husband and friends though are advocating for charcoal grey since they are worried about staining from messy baby. Decisions, decisions....
I'm gonna say stone w/piping also! Love that one best.
stone with piping, esp since you like it the best! :)
Hello! I just now saw the comment you left on my blog post re: this chair in my son's nursery. Well, having now used the stone w/ piping version through 12 months of feedings for child #1 (plus countless hours reading in it afterwards; she's 2 now!) and 3 months for child #2, it still looks like new. (I am careful with it though!) The microfiber fabric makes it easy to quickly wipe up milk/spitup stains with a damp cloth. You don't even see spots afterwards. However, we haven't spilled anything darker on it...but I say if you love the stone color, go for it!
Where did you find this chair? I love it- thanks.
It's the Luca glider from Monte: http://www.montedesign.net/modern_nursery_glider.html.
